Patriots vs. Falcons: How to Stream the Big Game

The largest U.S. sporting event is nearly here, as the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots gear up to meet on the gridiron on February 5th at 6:30 PM EST. Whether you watch for the football or for the commercials, you have several different options of how to stream the game this year.

Fox will be streaming the game on Fox Sports Go across all devices and if you have subscriptions to DirecTV Now, Sling TV, and PlayStation Vue, you can access the main event on Fox across all devices, including mobile and connected TV devices and laptops. Verizon customers can also watch on iOs and android devices via NFL Mobile. Check out the infographic below for an at-a-glance reference on how you can stream the big game.

In terms of digital viewership, last year’s live stream consisted of nearly four million unique viewers across laptops, desktops, connected TV devices, mobile phones and tablets. And we expect that number to rise, given the fact that connected TV viewership surged 65% over the past year.

Also continuing last year’s format, the live stream will feature the same national commercials as the linear broadcast, as well as local ads that will be dynamically inserted based on geo-location. These localized ads help increase relevance for all audiences—providing them with more personalized viewing experiences.

So get your favorite game day snack ready (Buffalo chicken wing dip happens to be my specialty), invite the whole gang over, and tune in to the main event on Sunday.
