March is packed with amazing video marketing events! Here’s a quick rundown of where the Innovid team will be for the rest of this month. We hope you can join us at least one event to say hello!
As consumers we do not always realize that our addiction to multiple devices is quickly altering long-established approaches to advertising, media planning and success measurement. And that our behavior not only dictates these strategic changes, but that we move 10x faster than marketers can keep up.
Innovid is constantly committed to providing our customers with neutral, unbiased media measurements across all devices in order to understand true campaign performance. We are proud to announce that Innovid's 100% dedicated video platform can now measure Snapchat’s video ad unit, called 3V (vertical-video-views), to connect 10-second vertical videos to the app’s user base within Snapchat Discover or Live Stories.
The IAB’s public release of VAST 4.0 on Jan 21st raised many questions from agencies about the significance of this release. VAST (Video Ad Serving Template) is the standard delivery mechanism for video ads across numerous platforms, as well as one of the IAB’s most widely adopted standards. Chances are, if you’re seeing a video ad on an IP-connected device across desktop, mobile, and connected TV there’s a high probability that it was delivered using VAST.
2016 is the year of video. According to eMarketer, 2016 will be the first time that more than half of the U.S. population will watch TV shows online at least once a month. Given this migration towards digital video, marketers will need to be very strategic in their approach, using data to drive engaging video campaigns that resonate with audiences across all screens.
