Enhanced catalogs to improve retailer's Advantage+ Shopping results

A large retailer wanted to enhance their catalog ads with product images that looked more premium, branded, and differentiated from competitors in their space. They wanted to test the performance impact of using dynamic templates to pull live product feed data into the creative.
The team set up a 3-week, two-cell A/B test to compare the performance of a generic catalog ad against Innovid’s enhanced catalogs. Both test cells leveraged Meta’s Advantage+ shopping campaigns for AI-based targeting and placements. The key difference in creative was that Innovid's enhanced catalog ads incorporated live pricing and custom-created templates within the catalog images.
Innovid's enhanced catalog creative improved both CVR and ROAS. The stronger CVR proved the creative reached a higher value customer.
