Employee Spotlight: Nirali Jain, Sales Director, Brand Solutions

March 30, 2021

Innovid is a product of its people. We pride ourselves on the culture that we’ve fostered throughout the years, a people-centric culture driven by generosity, a sense of daring, and the knowledge that, together, we are unbeatable. Nirali Jain, our Sales Director, Brand Solutions, is someone who perfectly embodies that mindset.

We recently had a chance to talk to Nirali about her current role at Innovid, the value she derives from being a part of Innovid’s employee-led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) task force, and how her parents’ journeys have helped shape the way she approaches personal and professional goals.

What do you do at Innovid?
I work on the sales team managing new business development and existing business growth with our brand-direct prospects and partners across the Midwest. My role requires a consultative approach in building a long-term vision of partnership. Many of the brands I oversee are global organizations, and a lot of my time is spent quarterbacking global new business growth with my counterparts overseas. I have really enjoyed the opportunity to understand the nuanced needs and challenges brands face within different markets and to determine effective strategies that help drive more value as a global partner.

What are some of the things that make you proud to work at a company like Innovid?
I am proud to work for a company that prioritizes a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect for all of their employees. As a minority female myself, I am happy to see these values reflected in the creation of our DEI task force, and I recently took on the opportunity to lead our Community Outreach Committee. It has been incredibly rewarding connecting with colleagues across all departments whom I likely would not have interfaced with in my day-to-day role, to work together to create programs that provide mentorship and career development for disadvantaged youth.

Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?
My parents. They came to this country with a whopping $7 USD in their pocket and no safety net. They left their support system and all familiarity to build a better life from scratch. The lessons of taking smart risks, having a good work ethic, and accountability was enforced from an early age. Those lessons built the foundation for how I approach my work today, and how I work towards the goals I set for myself professionally and personally.

When you’re not at work, you can most likely be found…
At the moment, tending to my young children at home. I have two sons, Rohan, who is seven months old, and Ludo, who is almost three years old. Once things look better post-pandemic, I look forward to traveling and seeing them experience the great big world we live in.

What song/artist is always on your playlist?
Currently listening to a lot of Rufus Du Sol these days. Their music mentally transports me to a party on a summer night. You know, when those were still a thing.
